Woke up on Sunday morning and shocked to hear of death news of Sridevi one of Bollywoods finest Heroines.
Seeing the reaction of her death news all over.
Have been trying to analyse her horoscope and the time of her death at the age of 54
Her Moon is placed in the 11th and Exalted and a parivartana with Venus.
She was no doubt one of bolly wood most beautiful Heroines.

Saturn - A Friend or Foe ?

Saturn is neither a friend nor a foe. He is as great teacher. A teacher is some on who teaches us when we are young, the benefit of this learning and experiences are received only after years. What ever you are taught in School is ony helpful when you group up and learn to be independant in life. The teaching of Saturn are similar.

Saturn will give us troubles when one is running sade sathi or it is in the 4th Ardha  Ashtama Sani) or 8th house (Ashtam Sani). 

Ashtama sani gives us fear or accidents or death. 

Ardha ashta gives us problems in family or death of a relative. 

Sade sathi occurs when saturn passes over natal moon . It starts from the 12th  house of the moon signir Nakshatra sign for 2 1/2 yrs the over Natal house of Nakashatra  moon for another 2 1/2 yrs and then 2nd house from moon for 2 1/2 yrs.. During this period both good and bad thing will happen. While some have bad results in the beginning. In my experience it generally give good while at the time of Sade sathi comming to an end of the native. 

However it is the 1st  and 3 rd Round sade sathi which is bad . The 3 rd sade sathi generally indicate once time on this earth is coming to an end. and is associated with old age, sickness etc. However this need not be so always. Sade sathi occurs once in 30 yrs. 

Propitiation to Sani god helps reduce the bad effects .. Worship lord Hanuman, Lord Ayyappan,  Goddess Durga during this period.

Sani is the only planet that is given the Title of Eshwara . Hence he is know as Sani Eshwara.

No other Planet in the entire solar system has this Title.

PANCHA MAHAPURUSHA YOGA'S

One of the commonly found Yoga in Successful people are the "Pancha Mahapurusha Yoga". Though you would find this in many horoscope, It is only during the dasha of these Planets does one get the full result or Benefits of the yoga. 

Pancha Mahapurusha yoga’s are yoga’s that are easy to find in a horoscope.  This is generally occurs either from the position of the ascendant and the Moon.

The Moon is an exceptionally important planet in Indian astrology, and for this reason, we can use the sign the Moon is in as an alternative ascendant (especially where the time of Birth of a person is not available). 

The presence of Pancha Mahapurusha Yoga is when a Planet is placed in a kendra house (1, 4, 7, 10th Houses either from Lagna or Moon.

There are five Yoga under this and hence they are called : Pancha Mahapurusha Yoga

• Ruchaka yoga: Mars in its own sign or in exaltation, and in a kendra house - brave, arrogant, the victor. A person could be a Good Sports person or a Dictator Like Hitler (on the extreme side), Army personnel etc.
• Bhadra yoga: Mercury in its own sign or in exaltation, and in a kendra house - intellectual, learned, rich. Good in commerce and communicating.
• Hamsa yoga: Jupiter in its own sign or in exaltation, and in a kendra house - religious, very fortunate. A learned person, a clergyman or someone who has a lot of good fortune in his life. 
• Malavaya yoga: Venus in its own sign or in exaltation, and in a kendra house - wealthy, loves life, sometimes self-indulgent, good marriage, strong sense of justice.Great riches and meeting many beautiful women, a great deal of sexual enjoyment.
• Shasya yoga: Saturn in its own sign or in exaltation, and in a kendra house - powerful, strict, position of authority. Politician or Director.

However though many person are likely to have one of these , yet the benefit or results are not seen always and not enough to give fame or wealth. These have to be combined with other Yoga and dasha timings for getting the benefits of this Yoga.

Some Eg. Lord Rama had all the 5 Yoga in his chart. Yet even thought he was a King, he had to go on Exile, Separated from his kingdom, Wife and Children.

In my experience a Person having 2 or more combination could be a very successful person but have a lot of problem in his marital life. especially if one has Rucha and Sasha Yoga.

Hitler had Rucha Yoga.You all know how a ruthless dictator he was. So this is a extreme side.

Mahatma Gandhi had Malavya Yoga . Yet he was a simple person with  Peace, truth and Ahimsa. 

What is Mangal Dosha

 I am usually asked by many What is Mangal dosha ? 

 Is it important to marry for a person having Mangal dosha to marry another person having similar dosha ?

Firstly before I begin my explanation, I would like  you to know what Mangal dosha is

A person who is born with Mangal or Mars in Kendra Sthana i.e 1,7,8  have a very strong Mangal Dosha

Person having Mangal in 2,4,12 having relatively less dosha.  However these dosha are absent for person born in Mesha, Vrichika , Kataka and Simha Lagna/ Rasi.

Mangal also known as Mars or Chevvai means Red coloured, It is fiery and aggressive, violent, fatal in nature.
Such person have a tendency to loose their self temper within fraction of a second and are uncontrollable.

Mangal dosha causes death, accidents, divorce which can be very bitter. The effects of this is generally seen during the Mangal dasha or Major dasha having sub bukthi of Mangal or Mars. Again death or divorce depends on the streangth or weakness of the planet in a horoscope.

To counter these malefic effects, it is advice that a person having Mangal in 7th should marry a person having mangal in 7th house . For a girl, Mangal in 8th house is extremely bad as it denotes Widowhood this is countered by her marrying a person having Mangal in 7th house.

2,4,12 denotes finance, family and losses hence these are also to be judged. 

My Interest in Astrology

How it all started

While I had started this blog a long time back, I had not continued for various reasons. 

My interest in astrology started out of curiosity during my vacation prior to my graduation. 

I had developed my interest reading Palmistry book of Dr William Benham,which i came across at my maternal grand parents place. 

Not very soon my cousins and friends used to show their hands and I started to make my prediction. While several were Bang and some just off the mark., Nevertheless, I continued reading just for the fun and curiosity. 

While I never received encouragement to learn Astrology at home, it was only my interest that kept it going It was then  that I came across Dr B V Raman's book "Astrology for Beginners" that i started  reading and found interesting.

This girl recently came to me to know if she would get a job.

After analyzing the horoscope, I knew there was lot of problem for this girl.

The 1^st thing that came to my mind is the presence of Kalasarpa yoga involving the 11^th to the 5^th house. I instantly new that there was problems in marriage. But since she came to me to know her job prospects I first went about analyzing her job.

The 6^th lord for service – Mercury and 9^th lord Jupiter (higher education and carreer prospects) and 11^th lord Saturn (finance) are all  in the 5^th house with Rahu. The girl was quite stubborn on her job front as she had done so much of qualification. That she was wanted to continue with her job. She was working in a good company but earning were a not quite enough.  I told her that she was not having any kind of job satisfaction , which she agreed and she wanted to go abroad.

I then decided to analyse the dasa she was running

She was taken aback and agreed that she has got divorced in 15 days of her marriage She got married in Oct 2007.  The reason being her husband and inlaws didn’t want her to go for work and she was stubborn that she will continue with work. This led to her divorce

Now look at the chart. The girl was running Budha dasa – Sani bukti in 2007, Budha is place in the 12^th house and is neecha and Sani is in 5^th house poorvapunya sthana. This means she has done some misdeed to her husband in previous birth that she is suffering now. Now look at lagna. This is occupied by Sun (Exalted) lord of 5^th house  - leo . indicating egoism and stuborness and Mars, lord of lagna is in parivartana in the 5^th house.

More over Mercury is in 12^th house and Venus is in 2^nd house  Thus Lagna is helmeted with Mercury and sun and Venus This is a yoga for separation as 7^th lord mercury (husband) and 8^th lord venus (Mangalya stana )along with 6^th lord Sun (legal and employment).

The girl got married in Budha dasa – Sani bukthi ( a 6-8 house combination is not good expecially when it involves malefic or neecha planets

I was sure that here the girl was at fault and not the husband. The dasa operated till 2010 and thereafter ketu till 2017 do not seem to me good for marital life. A bit of reconciliation by the girl can help her but she does not seem interested. Her husband works abroad and has not contacted her thereafter.

Moon and Maandi – indicate the dark features and negativity that the girl has in her mind.

A very clear case of separation indicated in the Chart itself . And ofcource the effect of kalaSarpa dosha

The 9^th lord Venus (represent father) is with 7^th lord and 8^th lord Mercury (death). Venus is also 8^th from 9^th house representing father. Sun is natural Karaka for father. This indicates that the father died when the boy was around 21 years

The 12^th house is  conjoined with Moon, Mars and Rahu , they boy is full of negative thoughts, finding faults with other, Mother, abusive to mother even at the ave of 38.

The 7^th house is having more than 3 planets and Venus shows delay and probably denial of marriage. Though minor affairs are not ruled out.

Jupiter is in 11^th with Neptune. This guy gets employed for  few day or month and thereafter gets frustrated and leave the job. He was not having a job for the around 1 year (2011)

What do houses signify?

First House - Lagnasthan, Tanusthan
