What is Mangal Dosha

 I am usually asked by many What is Mangal dosha ? 

 Is it important to marry for a person having Mangal dosha to marry another person having similar dosha ?

Firstly before I begin my explanation, I would like  you to know what Mangal dosha is

A person who is born with Mangal or Mars in Kendra Sthana i.e 1,7,8  have a very strong Mangal Dosha

Person having Mangal in 2,4,12 having relatively less dosha.  However these dosha are absent for person born in Mesha, Vrichika , Kataka and Simha Lagna/ Rasi.

Mangal also known as Mars or Chevvai means Red coloured, It is fiery and aggressive, violent, fatal in nature.
Such person have a tendency to loose their self temper within fraction of a second and are uncontrollable.

Mangal dosha causes death, accidents, divorce which can be very bitter. The effects of this is generally seen during the Mangal dasha or Major dasha having sub bukthi of Mangal or Mars. Again death or divorce depends on the streangth or weakness of the planet in a horoscope.

To counter these malefic effects, it is advice that a person having Mangal in 7th should marry a person having mangal in 7th house . For a girl, Mangal in 8th house is extremely bad as it denotes Widowhood this is countered by her marrying a person having Mangal in 7th house.

2,4,12 denotes finance, family and losses hence these are also to be judged.
